The Pastor and Parishioners at Good Shepherd Parish have been very generous and supportive to the Vietnamese Catholic Community. They have graciously provided us the privilege to utilize Good Shepherd School, located in the Mira Mesa Community of San Diego. Every Saturday afternoon we utilize these classrooms to educate our children on topics of Catholic Catechism and the Vietnamese culture. The program is designed to foster growth and development of each students.
We have created a curriculum that focuses on student development where our goal is for each student to meet his or her greatest potential as a Catholic. Our teachers, parents and Catholic Community all contribute to the students by sharing our Catholic belief, enrichening them with the traditions and customes of their Vietnamese heritage through the culture and language. We also nurture and guide our students so they can acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to become not only a successful members of the community of tomorrow, but also a caring and supportive member of our community today
