Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with you; blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge
the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Good morning, Jesus, my best friend, I want to thank you once again for morning things that come my way
to start me on another day. I offer this bright new morning to you, please help me to serve you in all I do. I know I'll be safe in my work and play with you at my side throughout this day. Amen.
I'm promising, dear Jesus, to follow you today, and to obey your every rule in all I do or say; to always be a loving child, helpful, kind, and sweet; to give the love you give to me to everyone I meet. But if this promise I should break, or if I bring you sorrow, then help me to begin again and keep my promise tomorrow.
Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. Your love go with me through the night, and wake me with the morning light. Dear Father in heaven, look down from above. Bless Mommy and Daddy and all those I love. Amen.
Jesus, open my mind and heart to your Holy Spirit. Show me where I have failed to love. Help me look at my anger, my sadness, my hurt, and my fear. Give me your strength and courage.
My Relationship with God: Do I say a prayer to Jesus everyday? Do I believe that Jesus really loves me? Do I pay attention when I go to Mass?
My Relationship with my Family: Have I failed to love my mother or my father; how about my sisters and brothers?
Do I pray for my Mom and Dad, and for all my family? Do I ever talk back to my Mom or Dad? Do I get into fights with my sisters and brothers?
Have I done the work at home that my parents asked me to do?
My Relationships at School: Do I respect and listen carefully to my teachers? Do I cheat on schoolwork or tell lies at school? Do I help my teachers when they ask me to?
My Relationship with my Friends: Do I ever hit or yell at my friends out of anger? Do I share things with my friends? Do I ever make fun of other kids, or leave them out of our games? Do I forgive others when they have hurt me?
Jesus, you know so much about me, you know when I'm happy and when I'm sad, you know that I try very hard to be good, to turn away from anything bad.
Forgive me now for all those times when I have failed to follow you. You're the best friend I've ever had, my God, my teacher, and brother, too. Amen.
Dearest Jesus, my Best Friend, I'm happy to be here today. My thoughts are full of your Good News, your promises and loving way. I'll come before your special table, to join your holy life to mine. My heart believes that you are there, in what was once the bread and wine.
I'll hear your words of lasting love: "Do this in my memory." Thengreatest miracle of all My Lord becomes true food for me. Amen.
Dear Lord, I thank you for my Mom, for all the things she does for me, for every smile and every hug. for tucking me in snug as a bug.
Please fill her heart today with joy and wipe away her every tear. Then make her smile from ear to ear so she knows there's nothing to fear. Remind her how it used to be when she was just a child like me. Give her a day so full of play, with fun things to do throughout the day.
And I will try to do for her those things she always does for me, so she too can joyfully see what a wonderful Mom she's come to be.
Dear Jesus, thank you for my Dad, the kindest friend I ever had. He gives me a wink when I feel glad and a Daddy-bear hug when I am sad.
He helps me learn the Christian way, how to be good and how to pray. He teaches me how to say, "I love you, God," every day.
And so I'll offer Dad this prayer to thank him for his love and care. If he needs me, I'll be right there with hugs and kisses I can share.
Each day, I'll do my best, and if he's tired, I'll let him rest. I want to show him every daywhat an awesome Dad God sent my way.
I thank you, God, for many things; for the happiness each morning brings, for the dewy grass and butterfly wings, for the early bird that sweetly sings. And I thank you for my time at play, and for the friends who come my way. In the gentle rain or the sun's bright ray, I thank you, Lord God, for each day.
And when the sun drops out of sight, I thank you for the moon's white light, for diamond stars that twinkle bright, and for your sheltering love tonight.
I thank you, Lord, and I praise you!
Heavenly Angel, be my light, in the darkest hour of the night. Day after day, year after year, keep me in your loving care.
Dear messenger from above, symbol of God's precious love, help me to follow God's command, guide my footsteps, and hold my hand.
Heavenly Father, today is my special day! Thank you for making me, and for listening when I pray.
Thank you for those who care for me, and for friendships through the years;
for people to share my laughter and joy, and to comfort all my tears.
As birthdays come and birthdays go, and each one brings me cheer, I have more and more to be thankful for every minute, every day, every year.
Come, Holy Spirit, lead me through my life. When the journey seems too long, when I feel tired, or don't know which way to go, give me your strength. Come, Holy Spirit, Inspire me to serve, Jesus my Savior.
Follow these steps to learn how to pray the rosary.
1. Make the Sign of the Cross.
2. On the crucifix, pray the Apostles' Creed.
3. Pray the Lord's Prayer on the first large bead.
4. Pray the Hail Mary on each of the three small beads.
5. Pray the Glory Be.
6. Think about what happens in the first mystery, and then pray the Lord's Prayer. If you are praying the rosary with others, you may want to announce the mystery aloud, like this: The First Joyful Mystery, the Annunciation. Do the same for each mystery.
7. Pray the Lord's Prayer on the large bead and one Hail Mary on each of the next ten small beads. Now pray the Glory Be. Do this for each of the mysteries.
8. Usually when people have prayed five mysteries, they have completed one rosary. You may pray whatever mysteries you like, but you may want to know that people often pray the Joyful Mysteries all the way through the Advent and Christmas season, the Sorrowful Mysteries all the way through Lent, and the Glorious Mysteries all the way through Easter and Pentecost.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Come, O Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created.
And you shall renew the face of the earth
My Lord Jesus Christ, who for the love you bear us, remain night and day in this Sacrament, full of compassion
and of love, awaiting, calling and welcoming all who come to visit you, I believe that you are present in the Sacrament of the Altar. I adore you from the abyss of my nothingness and I thank you for all the graces you have given me until now, and in particular, for having given me yourself in this Sacrament, for having given me your Most Holy Mother Mary as my advocate and for having called me to visit you in this church.
I now salute your Most Loving Heart, and this for three ends: first, in thanksgiving for this great gift; second, to make amends to you for all the outrages which you receive in this Sacrament from all your enemies; third, I intend by this visit to adore you in all the places on earth in which you are present in this Sacrament and in which you are the least revered and the most abandoned.
My Jesus, I love you with my whole heart. I grieve for having until now so many times offended your infinite goodness. I purpose by your grace never more to offend you for the time to come; and now, miserable and unworthy though I am, I consecrate myself to you without reserve. I give you and renounce my entire will, my affections, my desires, and all that I possess. From now on, use me and all that I have as you wish. All I ask of you and desire is your holy love, final perseverance and the perfect accomplishment of your will.
I recommend to you the souls in Purgatory; but especially those who had the greatest devotion to the Most Blessed Sacrament and to the Most Blessed Virgin Mary. I also recommend to you all poor sinners.
And finally, my dear Savior, I unite all my affections with the affections of your most loving Heart, and I offer them with you to your Eternal Father and beg him for your sake and for love of you, graciously to accept and grant them.
St. Alphonsus de Liguori
My Jesus, I believe you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you now that you have come and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you.
My being proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit finds joy in God my savior, For he has looked upon his servant in her lowliness;
all ages to come shall call me blessed. God who is mighty has done great things for me, holy is his
name; His mercy is from age to age on those who fear him. He has shown might with his arm;
he has confused the proud in their inmost thoughts. He has deposed the mighty from their thrones and raised
the lowly to high places. The hungry he has given every good thing, while the rich he
has sent away empty. He has upheld Israel his servant, ever mindful of his mercy; Even as he promised our fathers, promised Abraham and
his descendants forever.
O God, in your wonderful providence You were pleased to choose Blessed Joseph to be the spouse of your most holy Mother. Grant, we beg you, that we may be worthy to have him for our intecessor in heaven whom we venerate on earth as our protector. You who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
With each new day that dawns I am growing up, O Lord. It's not too soon to start thinking of what I want to be. It's very hard, I think, to make the right decision but I pray that you will help and guide me. Show me what to do, let me share, someday, my talents where they're needed. And when you show me, give me courage to be generous enough to do what you want.
Heavenly Father, bless your Church with an abundance of holy and zealous priests, deacons, brothers and sisters.
Give those you have called to the married state and those you have chosen to live as single persons in the world, the special graces that their lives require.
Form us all in the likeness of your Son so that in him, with him and through him we may love you more deeply and serve you more faithfully, always and everywhere.
With Mary we ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Lord Jesus, up until now you have been quietly preparing me to be your disciple. Now the time of preparation is ending. I seem to hear you say to me, as once to Peter: "Will you also go away?"
You were saddened then by friends who failed you. But Peter did not fail. "Lord," he said, "to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life."
I stand with Peter. Through prayer and counsel, show me, Lord, where it is in your vineyard that you want me to serve. Then give me strength to be faithful.
Mary, Mother and Model, help me to respond in generous love to the call of your divine Son. Amen.

PRAYER FOR DEACONS AND OTHER MINISTERS
Heavenly Father, since the time of the Apostles you have inspired the Church to commission certain members to assist in a special way in the pastoral mission of Christ. PRAYER FOR RELIGIOUS PRIESTS, BROTHERS AND SISTERS
Heavenly Father, in your wisdom you have called certain women and men to a life of special consecration so that in prayerful observance of a lifestyle of poverty, chaste celibacy and obedience, they might be witnesses to us that as St. Paul says, "our true citizenship is in heaven." Give them, Lord, the grace of joy and perseverance in their holy vocation. We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
PRAYER FOR THE FAMILY
Heavenly Father, we are reminded by the Second Vatican Council that our family is a domestic Church where family prayer and mutual affection pay you special worship.
